Re: Pick me up/ Tonic

I have found St Johns Wort tea is pretty good if I am feeling under the weather. It stimulates your immune system, against viral/microbials

Anything with vitamin B12 seems to help me I think I must lack it in my diet. Might be worth having a look at your general diet and is anything missing at all. Also some vitamins can only work in conjunction of others so worth looking at how your diet works in total.

It's not something I would turn to if I wanted a 'nice' drink but then I have never been fussed on teas or coffees. I see it purely as a medicinal thing

I don't, never felt the need for one.

For some odd reason when I have been ill I long for porridge
Strangely enough, when I was ill, I went off porridge but now I am feeling better, gone back on it with a spoonful of peanut butter mixed in.

Best tonic I know .... fresh air or if you live near one, a walk on the beach.

I agree about the fresh air MandM when I was working the first thing I did on getting home was to get changed and head down the fields with my dog and the tiredness and stress just melted away
