I know Loch Linnhe, from my holiday in Spean Bridge.
Nom, how silly of me. I've gone back and edited each pic to say where it is!

If you ever feel like solitude and peace, then this is the place to go. I love it. Blink, and you drive past it. It's on the bank of Loch Awe and is spectacular

Cheers Alice, i have done Loch Lomond, Nessie had a day off, also had a great day at Blair Atholl castle all that fabulous Armour hanging on the walls..

One of my greatest memories of Scotland was driving up Glen Roy in a thunderstorm, wished i was into photography in those days.

Ps my spellchecker throws some wonderful interpretations of Scottish place names.

Alice, The VITAL SPARK !! I loved the Para Handy tales. I remember as a kid, the Clyde puffers that sailed from Campbeltown over to N.Ireland to collect lime from the quarries there.

Taken in the isle of Arran, last year. First time I've ever been and I'll be back. We drove around the island and saw all of it. Absolutely beautiful.

Morvich and Loch Duich

Pennan - a few miles from me and where 'Local Hero' was filmed.

Cruden Bay. Once a thriving resort, this is where Bram Stoker stayed and wrote much of 'Dracula'. He was a frequest guest at the nearby Slains Castle and some think that he used this as inspiration for Dracula's castle. (Yes, I know the story was set in Whitby, but it was written in Cruden Bay)
