Re: Goodnight!
This is too much information but lest you think it is a glamorous life I lead:
At 2:45 AM last night, Ranger, the 90-pound-dog, vomited (the understatement of the century) on the bedroom carpet.
At 2:45 In a nightgown and with bed hair, I was shampooing the carpet.
At 3:00 I gave Ranger a nausea pill.
At 3:01 Ranger spit out the pill.
At 3:20 AM Ranger vomited on the carpet runner in the hall.
At 3:21 AM I was washing the carpet runner in the jacuzzi tub, grumbling something about the probability of a dog getting sick on only the 15% of a room that is carpeted.
At 3:31 I was begging Ranger to go outside through the dog door.
At 3:32 I was, freezing in my nightgown, walking reluctant Ranger in the backyard where he just stood, doing absolutely nothing.
At 3:36 Ranger took...and then promptly spit out the nausea pill. Again.
At 3:40 Ranger was shivering in pain so I let him into the bed with me.
Yes, you guessed it and are no doubt thinking me a fool by now...
At 4:12 Ranger vomited on the bed - the down comforter, the sheets, the down pillows - and me.
At 4:30 with clean bedding, the washer whirring, and me now fully awake from the ensuing shower, I returned to bed to find Range healthfully and peacefully sleeping in his own bed.
At 4:35 I stared, fully awake, at the ceiling devising plans for my escape to Patagonia.
Some nights are better than others...
Anyone want a sweet but delicate 90 lb. mastiff/lab mix?
I thought not.
Goodnight!
