About halfway through the third volume of Ruth Park's Harp of the South. Really enjoying it.

I think you have probably found that it is just an appalling written book. I got further than page six but not much, certainly never got as far as any 'naughty bits'.

It was a choice between losing the will to live or abandoning the stupid book.

Finished Odysseus - The Oath about a week ago and still yet to find part two.

Read The Secret of the Templars by Paul Christopher next and now I'm on Sphinx by TS Learner - fascinating stuff about an early version of the Antikythera mechanism known as an Astrolabe.

I've just finished a book about someone who cycled all round the coast of Britain; easy and interesting:-

One Man and his Bike - a life changing journey all the way round the coast of Britain

I'd never heard of Terry Pratchett till his death was announced. Got two of his books from the library this morning, so we'll see what the fuss was about.
