Re: oops No top gear (the Jeremy Clarksons debate)

I watch it Alan, but have no time for it's deliberate attempts to be controversial off set, certainly won't be signing any petitions.

From what the papers are saying he stopped using his words and tried to use his fists in any other company that would be instant dismissal. Not really interested in Clarkson but will be watching the BBC closely because they are playing with our money here, so no golden handshakes if he leaves or I will be quite cross.

Re: oops No top gear (the Jeremy Clarksons debate)

Love the bloke watched quite a few of his programmes over the years and enjoyed them all. Like his stance against the PC lunacy that has infected the UK.

Not keen on his support for fox hunting and some environmental issues. i am left wondering if aunty beeb are worried about the charter renewal due soon.

As for Top Gear, it used to be hosted by the likes Noel Edmonds and Angela Rippon nice safe types. The Beeb have history with presenters Kenny Everett, Johnny Walker etc and they went on to do better, so i think Clarkson will be ok, plenty out there would love to have him on their books.

Never mind at the moment its all allegations and their are always two sides to a story, The witch hunt will continue.

If he hit someone or attempted to hit someone in the work place he would be instantly dismissed in any company. That is not a witch hunt. It is employment law. Let people get away with that and we could all be in trouble.

Sounds like this was a dispute over food or lack of it, the millionaire couldn't get on the phone and order food for himself he chose to hit a member of the crew.

No witch hunt that I can see.

His racist views have been well documented in the past and it's not a witch hunt to refuse to accept racists a platform.
