BGT is the showcase for the very elderly contestants to get on stage and show their musical skills with a comb and piece of paper or a coule of spoons. The obligatory dancing dog will feature highly again and not forgetting the parrot who forgets his lines and tricks.
Bring it on is what I say.
I agree with the above
I am always amazed that in the case of the bad performers their families/friends didn't put them straight to spare their embarrassment.

The auditions good and bad are the "hook"
That's why it becomes such compulsive viewing.

Mind you Louisa was so far ahead of the pack last year I got bored very quickly...
Not taking anything away from her.

The sound of your child singing will always sound wonderful I suppose even if he or she is in their 40s
Remember the fat lass who was dressed in a long pink frock that her dad had made for her L
Her singing was horrendous a bit like the frock

I watch them - I like the slick production

Talent shows have come a long way since Opportunity Knocks.

Re: X Factor/BGT

You can't beat a bit of snobbery in my view. Every evening Mrs Rehab and myself sit around the piano in evening dress and we rattle off a few of Lonnie Donnigans Greatest Hits. A really spiffing evenings entertainment. Next week we intend to do all of Wagners Ring Cycle.

Ah, yes. The great Wagner himself. I must admit I didn't know he rode a bike.
Louis had great difficulty pronouncing his name.
