Pigeons walk across roads too. Usually they fly up before a car hits them though, but I have seen them squashed in the road & Corvids eating the carrion.

Perhaps they are growing marijuana in the loft and it's warmer than all the other roofs Harbal....

I have seen many a pigeon fly into the windscreen of a car or truck. The burst of feathers into the air is quite spectacular.
