There can be no good reason to transport live animals other than for conservation or breeding purposes & a few other limited reasons nowadays.

It's about time to IMO. It says something about the mind-set of the EU when they still allow and want this to continue .. utter barbarians the lot of 'em.

Yep.

It also means we can bring back our own smaller UK slaughter houses and stop the trucking of livestock hundreds of miles up and down motorways.

Even worse, some are shipped abroad for slaughter too.
Remember a few months ago when a ship full of thousands of cattle sank? Utterly disgraceful and barbaric.
