Re: Solar Eclipse

Lucky to have a great view through a neighbours welding mask. Wouldn't have seen it otherwise.

Re: Solar Eclipse

Too much cloud here, it didn't even really get dark, just a bit gloomy. I saw one in the 1950s when I was at school. We smoked bit of glass using Bunsen burners to get the smoke, and watched it, so I wasn't too bothered. Wouldn't be allowed to smoke glass these days due to elf'n'safety.

Re: Solar Eclipse

Had a great view here in the end . I was driving to Worcester and stopped on the Old Hills along with lots of other people. A kind lady lent me her eclipse viewer glasses so I was able to see it briefly.

Hi Agent, i managed to see it through a pair of Solar Eclipse glasses, which my Brother gave me. It was cloudy at times but clearer to the end.

Re: Solar Eclipse

Saw nuffin went a teeny bit dark for a few minutes just like there was a storm brewing but that was it.
Totally not happy after all the hullabaloo over this with the media.

Re: Solar Eclipse

Loved the photo Wrinkly. Weather here brilliant now but very cloudy about the time of the eclipse.
