So does his reaction to it but he obviously can't see well because the heading on this thread clearly indicates that there is no place for him on here.

(1) Longdogs is sorta right. Such stuff is rarely used. But Low-humidity winter winds can cause dryness and such.

(2) My stray "off-topic" (flog me) was in direct response to queries from Clumsy and Morty.
But I am grateful to Twinks for her direction re where I may or may not post.

Not at all Pummy, I am always happy to help a friend who has strayed in the wrong direction!

Re: For the Cat Lovers

Why do so many people dislike cats? Is it possible they simply do not understand them?

Probably because cats use other peoples gardens as toilets, not pleasant at all, and also because they kill birds that people like to feed in their gardens.

I am not sure I can agree with that Clumsy because, only in recent years have dog owners been clearing their dogs mess.....much easier as they are with their dogs when it happens. Less than 20 years ago dogs were fouling footpaths and gardens, but the difference is that cats try to cover what they have done, where dogs leave it on the grounds surface. Dogs can also kill cats, rabbits and some are people's pets.
My cats never foul anybody's garden because my house is surrounded by fields. If people chose to live in close proximity to their neighbours I feel that they all need to be tolerant of each others pets...... as I was expected to be when a neighbour's dog came on to my garden and killed my cat. That was the sole reason that I moved to my present house!

Cats kill birds, birds kill insects, insects kill other insects.

Man kills everything.
