We now live in a hypocracy!!

We no longer live in a democracy!!!
It has become a hypocracy!!!
It would be well for Boris to now seek an alliance with
Nigel Farage to finish this job?
Boris did his best but the odds were against him
With media, establishment and even half his own party
against him, but what he tried impressed me!
With Nigel and Boris together they will have a good chance
as they are speaking for the leavers, who were a majority!
The only way is to back them up in the election and settle
it for good, one way or the other!

Regards Donkeyman!

I was wondering how it works if they kick the rebels out of the party when they have no majority already? Surely it's like shooting yourself in the foot as a party?

Not in a fixed term parliament.

21 tories list the whip tonight... 21 new brexiteer tories will stand in the general election.

Depends on whether the parties field different candidates in the constituencies where the traitors are. Surely, those that chose to rebel can't in all conscience choose to represent the parties they were ousted from? They may choose to stand on an independent ticket, after all, why give up a job that is well paid easy money if elected?

Any prospective new candidates at the respective constituencies wishing to represent a political will have to be chosen by the resident political association/parties members.

Someone phoning into LBC earlier today was saying that the tories simply don't have enough candidates ready to stand.

The problem with all this is that Corbyn could get in. That would be a disaster.

Unless the Brexit Party swoop in to save the day - recently they had 150 prospective candidates but Nigel says he could put one in every constituency by the time of a general election.

Although some would vote for the brexit party, many would not because they do not have any other policies (as far as I am aware). The danger is that it would fragment the vote and let Corbyn in.

I prefer to think that they'd steal votes from the Labour party, especially those in constituencies who voted to leave and were ignored by the London bubble.
