Re: Immigrant Dependency
Not sure if I’m on the same track as you Moscow, but my understanding is that there has always been different social classes here in the UK.
The Elites - those that have been educated at independent fee-paying schools, followed by Oxford or Cambridge, and taking up the top jobs of Military Officers, Top Doctors, Cabinet positions, Leading Journalists, Lawyers, Judges, Solicitors, most of the aristocracy and many of our British Actors. Most of the House of Lords represent the hereditary upper-classes, and right at the top of the list at number one - is the Royal family.
The Technical Middle Class - Airline pilots, Medical Radiographers, pharmacists, natural and social science professionals and physical scientists, business, research and administrative positions.etc.
The Established Middle Class - Electrical Engineers, Occupational therapists, Social Workers, Midwives, environmental professionals, quality assurance, regulatory professionals, town planning officials and special needs teaching professionals etc.
The New Affluent Workers - Electricians, Electrical Fitters, Postal workers, Retail cashiers and checkout operatives, plumbers, heating and ventilation engineers, sales and retail assistants, housing officers, kitchen/catering assistants, quality assurance technicians etc.
The Traditional Working Class - electrical and electronic technicians, care workers, cleaners, gardeners, van drivers, electricians, residential, day and domiciliary care, dinner ladies, etc.
The Under Class - Illegal immigrants who disappear into the black economy.
Sex and Work slaves through traffickers.
Many lone parents existing on benefits.
Immigrants who come here for the free benefits, housing, medical and education.
Those who have to visit Foodbanks..
And don’t worry too much about the elites and upper middle class getting their hands dirty.
If the horror scenario comes about and Compo gets in with his Marxist ways, it won’t be too long a year before the whole caboodle of the above will be getting their hands dirty in the new cooperatives they will no doubt end up working in, with all proceeds going to the state.
