Who is your favourite Celebrity Chef

I have to say my favourite is Keith Floyd love his style bottle of wine while cooking and what a character. I have just recently read his book "stirred but not shaken", he certainly had a colourful life a great read if you are a floyd fan. He passed away after having been out for a sunday lunch with a few drinks then went home an had a sleep on the sofa and passed away, thats the way to go.

I dislike intensely celebrity chefs. Why don't they get a proper job ?

Re: Who is your favourite Celebrity Chef

I like the type of show that Keith Floyd used to do and Rick Stein still does. As much a travelogue as a cooking program. And they were/are both nice, normal people (well, Floyd was fairly normal when he wasn't drunk) and don't have to resort to being drama Queens or to constant swearing and shouting.

I just don't see the entertainment in all these silly loud, argumentative cooking shows.

Re: Who is your favourite Celebrity Chef

I do not like these so called great chef's, they do not know what good food is.

Meat should be thoroughly cooked not left bleeding on the plate, there are still bacteria in that sort of meat. Adding any spices. garlic etc is not to everyone's taste. Everyone has different taste buds so what one person likes another will not, so, how can a chef say that the way they prepare food is the best.

Celebrity chefs like all politicians are only there for the money.

Mums home cooking is best.
