We use a good amount of ginger and I can recommend the tea.
Just cut a few thin slices off the root and use like a tea bag.

A friend made me some delicious lemon ginger tea...
I wrote a bit about it here
.
She peels the root then grates the ginger into the pot. Lots of fresh lemon juice and honey, cinnamon and some green tea as well.

I make ginger and a little honey tea all the time in the winter ..its a great pick me up......
