shortcrust pastry ?

hello xx,
does anyone have any good recipes using s/c pastry.ive got to lots[frozen].it was puff patry i needed,lol xx

lol,going on a picnic,so its the good old fashion plait,home made picnic eggs,and all the rest.

thanks ben xx,its on sat,so im going to do the baking today,sandwiches,chicken ,salads and what nots tomorrow.hope the sunshines or its going to be a indoor picnic,lol xx

I see no mention of little cakes! Can't have a picnic without little cakes

I've been reliably informed by my son (who seems to believe that's he's also a barometer) that this good weather is set to last until Tuesday so you should be fine; if not, I'll give you his email address and you can blame him

victoria sponge,not sure about upsidedown pineapple sponge or a jam and coconut one.jellies,fruit.

Might I suggest a chocolate (victoria) sponge with a coffee & rum butter cream filling.
