Gosh that's big, sadly mice ate ours so we are making one as we don't like cutting down real ones and the artificial ones are a bit expensive. So we are collecting the bits together, each dog walk we come home with another branch, Elsie labrador thinks it's a great game.

Re: How big is your Christmas Tree?

Mine is much smaller this year, I bought a 1 piece one with built in lights (optical fibre) and it only took a few minutes to put up - get out of box... spread the 'branches'... poke into its stand... plug in... done.

Australian 'real' Christmas trees tend to be radiata pine which don't look like Christmas trees to me.

We've stuck some lights on a bush in the garden. That's as festive as we get.

I am with Roxy here, my long term partner died in August and apart from spending the money I would have spent on her present on useful items for a cat charity I support, Chritnas will just be another day.
