Did it not cross your mind when you saw him the second time that it was rather odd and that there are indeed some very strange lonely men about ?
Zuleika, The conversation went... ‘Wow, l can read your mind and you have the hots for me’.
‘How about we lie on top of this freezer and make love like two stoats in a bag’!

Now put that in your cakehole and eat it, you silly old bigoted trout!

This happened yesterday. I passed a man and l made a joke about it. He joked back and l went on my way.
I had a quick look around and decided there was nothing l wanted. Being lazy, l thought l was nearer the entrance than the exit and l tried to get out there but l couldn’t. I headed back up the aisle to go to the exit and on the way met the man again.

He made a comment and we started to chat. He seemed very intelligent and l guessed he had gone to a good school and he had.
Somehow, age came up and we were born in the same year. I said, ‘You are a Virgo (starsign!) and he was. I said, ‘You are an only child’. He said, he was.

We chatted for probably an hour, don’t ask me why, the time just flew. This man was a stranger that l had just met.
He asked me my name, so l told him and l said, ‘Your name is David’ and it was!

In the past, l have guessed people who l have never met before, their occupations and have been right.

Have you ever read a stranger or guessed things about them and it turned out to be correct?

Do you think you have a sixth sense,Art...I believe what you say,....I find that story interesting.....has it happened to you before?

I believe you Art
And no it's never happened to me
Not that level of accuracy any way
Although I do think I'm a good judge of character
I get a "feeling" about people and it's usually right

Oh I get it now , Art's started to try her hand at writing a book
The post certainly reads just like the beginning of chapter one of those paperbacks that adorn W.H .Smiths shelves these days .
Go for it Art ! Make something of it if you have a creative mind .

Oooooooh yes! I have often wondered who these people are. I bet their trolleys were at right angles too.

I thought I already had but I can't find it now. My internet has been a right bugger all day.

I believe it is possible to have an instant connection with someone whether in real life or even on a forum.

Occasionally I have been casually walking along in a crowd when suddenly someone stands out and it's nothing to do with looks as such. You notice them and they notice you. Usually, the moment passes though.

Perhaps as suggested, we knew them in a previous life .... no one knows the answer to that.

We meet and socialise with a lot of people. But mostly dog walkers so we have a common interest to start with. Generally, they are a nice bunch. But there those who hate or fear dogs and ours picks up on that - a good barometer you might say.

Re: Can You Read A Stranger, Just By Looking Or Talking To Them?

I used to think I was fairly good with the sixth sense stuff but I had a situation not long ago where a person tried his best to say hello and make a connection.

I'm usually a friendly person but sadly not on this occasion... I wish I had reacted differently but there you go....my own idiotic self to blame.

I don't doubt for one-second Art you had a connection with this man for what reason... who knows? it happens though I'm sure of that.
