The Jeep I restored last year

It's a Daihatsu Sportrak 1600cc petrol, it took me 12 weeks from June to September to complete the job, every day from 9 in the morning to 9 at night, I even did a night shift re-fitting the engine.

How she was.

The nearside chassis.

The off-side chassis.

Both springs were broken.

The fuel tank was falling apart.

After some welding.

The cylinder head gasket was gone.

The valves were gone too.

Job finished.

And she can go topless.

Wow - that was a labour of love, wasn't it?
Makes me feel sad for my old Suzuki Vitara, which it greatly resembles, and which went a couple of years ago

Wow, well done!!! That's a transformation . . . to be honest if it were me and I was confronted with all the rust I think I'd take the easy option and get a new(er) car
