Suppose I'll now have to put up with 2nd rate athletes competing in the Paralympics

Like hell I will.

Can't wait to watch these amazing athletes in action.

It was a little sarcasm aimed at the down grading of this fantastic event and the abysmal ticket sales running at about 12% of those available.

I am always amazed at just how good they are. They must train very hard to do what they do, and some then find the time to encourage others, with disabilities, to achieve in sport.

These athletes can feel very proud of themselves for going to these games and where ever they come, they are true heroes.

It is a shame about the poor ticket sales. Mind you they were not sold out the last two weeks either at some of the events.

The GB Team is doing fantastic, 134 Medals including 60 Golds.

Good on them.

The dreadful irony is, that many of these disabled people competing, were able bodied people around the time of the last Paralympics.
They are absolutely brilliant!

i think they are all great and thoroughly enjoy the paraolympics - i was lucky in 2012 to go and see the swimming and they were all amazing - well done to Team GB
