I went to Ilfracombe in June this year and loved it ... easy to get out and about by bus to Barnstaple ... Bideford ... Appledore ... Woolacombe ...Combe Martin, etc ... gorgeous

I also went to Lynton/Lynmouth in November and enjoyed that too but not much there for teenagers.

I work on the east coast including hull so OK for day trips and the occasional couple of days but a week! I think not

Whitby, as a base, and then touring the North York Moors?

(And could pop in to Scarborough for a day.)

Med cruise, I thought how terrible until I went on one. Started off going up the River Nile as a trial trip, now done 2 Med cruises- a Baltic cruise and this year off on a caribbean cruise. It is the best way to find out if you want to go back and visit a country.
So where have I been?

3 times to USA- Spain- Tunisia- China- Brazil- Brittany -Argentina - Paraguary they were stay in the country holidays, and too many countries on cruises too mention

Still love to go to Japan and or Asia area of the world, Scandinavia - Australia and new Zealand.

Places would hate to go to are India and Pakistan, they would top the list

On mount Etna where there are 27 small craters


inside a crater




Lava flow two weeks before were arrived


they had only just given the ok for tourists to visit two days prior to us being there

Sicilian courtyard and traditions pipe of pan being played.
Takes 5 years to learn to play like this

Aleppo in the springtime isn't bad either.
