England 5 - Croatia 1 .......woohoo!!!

They have secured qualification for next year's World Cup in South Africa!

Maybe 2010 will be our year!

Croatia? Croatia!!!!!!!? How the mighty have fallen when thrashing a minor middle European state is a cause for joy and (let`s face it) slight surprise. Maybe England`s fortunes are on the rise?

I just hope the actual Cup in SA goes off OK. I've heard many dubious reports from the Lions tour and the footie numbers and logistics will be enormous in comparison.
Hard luck Scotland (and I think the other Home nations who only have the tiniest of chances of qualifying now)
