I wouldn't mind 4am so much in the Summer but that would be a nightmare for me in Winter.

What a shame, I understand that is the time your new puppy will need to go walkies!

Don't give him any ideas Twink, he already thinks he owns the place.

No the cats own the place, but you are his carer and have to attend to his every need...... like needing to go out at 4am!

Re: Night owl or morning lark?

In summer I wake early to take Jess out as we like the peace and the light early mornings!

Once its not getting light until around 9am I lie in longer, wait until most have gone to work or school then take her out when its quieter.

I watch TV in bed as its only place I can get comfy and lie with legs up and usually turn it off around 11pm and go to sleep, often I may fall asleep in the middle of a program and Jess wakes me around 1am when she needs a wee (I usually let her out at 11pm before 'lights out'!).

Re: Night owl or morning lark?

Night owl me. I hate getting up in the mornings & very rarely go to bed before midnight, sometimes it's one a.m.If I do have to get up I can though, providing someone rings me about an hour before they want me.
