Israel expansion!

Apparently lsrael is planning to annex a part of Jordan
they have occupied militaryly for a number of years!
Obviously Netenyahu feels emboldened now that Trump has
endorsed this type of inflamatory action by backing them
over Jerusalem?
Israel is set to continue expanding despite the likely
repercussions? WHY, maybe to divert attention from his
corruption problems, who knows? One thing is certain
though, is that it wont help calm down the enmity between
the two sides!

They are talking of the Jordan Valley
The West Bank of the Jordan Valley
This is not part of Jordan

Jordan lost all of the West Bank ( that it was occupying illegally ) in 1967 by foolishly launching a war against Israel .

You are probably right Muddy, the report l heard described
the valley as being occupied by lsraeli military which they
were now going to annex?
So who were they annexing it from if it was allready theirs?
The rport l heard was on Aljerzeera so maybe some bias
there?

It's been on various news outlets. Netanyahu has an election coming up.. so hardly surprising he's trying to appeal to his supporters.
However, all the Arab countries are up in arms, so yet again another deferment of the peace that never will be.

Who cares any longer ? Let them get on with their own initiated troubles and leave us out of it.

Not all of them Muddy? I think there is now a majority of
arab countries that realise the futility of trying to destroy
Israel and are willing to talk? But unfortunately the ones
most closely concerned are still preaching the same old hymn!

Stop funding the Palestinians until they are willing to come to the table and talk peace .

Israel has always been willing but unless the Palestinians drop ‘the destruction of Israel’ from their agenda their can be none
