Chimps see freedom for the first time

Notable in this article (which is not a new one) is the mention that testing on these animals is really a waste of time.

A total waste of time, governed by so called humans who take it upon themselves to inflict such entrapment on an animal's life.

Absolutely. It is terrible to think that some of those Chimps are 50 years old and spent their lives being tested for "whatever", their lives spent in misery for nothing. It makes me want to weep.

Me too! There is absolutely no need for animal testing these days, none whatsoever. We don't need to drop bleach into the eyes of rabbits to see if it'll blind them. We know that. There's no need for testing on animals for hair products, make-up or anything else which is supposedly for the beautifying of women. No need to make dogs smoke cigarettes to see if they're affected because it doesn't and we've known this for 50 years plus.

Sorry. I know I shouldn't have got started, but it does make my blood boil.
