What a Lovely Day

Hi

Amidst all the doom and gloom, a lovely day.

Yes, the floods are still around, my garden is a wreck with standing water.

But, dry, sunny and a pleasure to be out in.

The simple things in life are best.

So glad you've had a lovely day Swimmy, I have had a lovely afternoon after finishing work, I went swimming with my best friend then spent time with my Dad and then had coffee with another close friend.

I'm hoping the rain will do one and give us more nice days.

It's been a beautiful sunny day here, the crocus and daffodils looking lovely in the bright sun.

I gave my lawn it's first cut of the season, and re-shaped round the edges.

Another nice day, the hedgerows are full of Spring flowers.

Still cold here but yes, the daffs are out in the verges and the buds are opening on the hawthorn, sure signs of the approaching spring.

I wish it would hurry up, even with the heating on my hands and toes are freezing cold.
