Would You Want To Know?

If the doctor told your spouse that you only had 6 months to live, would you want to know?

At 1st I thought, no I wouldn't want to know so I could just continue being happy doing what I'm doing then drop dead! But then realized my husband has a hard time hiding his feelings. That would drive me nuts.

Its different with us because we don't have family to have to worry about.

Yes I agree I hope at a time like that my feelings would be to help him because whatever is going to happen to me will whatever we do but he could need a lot of help.

Yes I would, it would be an unfair burden for my husband to have to carry, and didn't we make vows when we married?

We have shared everything during our marriage so why break a habit of a lifetime.

I'd want to know, I'd have to organise things and make sure when I've gone OH would find it easier to manage, it's the little things that you don't know and when there's no-one left to ask........

Yes, I'd want to know so that I would have time to show my husband how to use the washing machine, cook a roast dinner and iron his clothes.
