The town hall in Wenigerode in the Harz mountains in Germany.
Sheila's off out with her pal this morning so I'll be making lasagne for lunch and leek soup for tea time.

Good morning everyone, a good frost here at the moment, hope it warms up a bit for the weekend....

Just a bit of shopping and pottering about for us today, no special plans.

An impressive building Alan, like something out of a fairy tale...

I've woken up early and am just pottering about. I usually go into town centre once a week, and that's what I'll do today

Setting off at 09-30 and use my bus pass for the short journey

Buy an 'I' newspaper; breakfast in Wetherspoons with their free coffee refills; library to order a book; bank for cash & ministatement; shopping for a couple of things I can't get in the local shops; home about dinnertime.

Weather forecast is pretty miserable so unless anything else crops up I'll spend this afternoon and most of the weekend making a model plane.

Morning all ,I thought it was a Fothergill Building Alan when i first saw your photo .Its similar to his designs.buildings like that are much more appealing to the eye I think .

Good morning everyone. Think I should have bought shares in
Wetherspoons. Very popular on here. I being one of those.
Hope everyone has a nice day. Cold here but going to be sunny.
Then another storm at the weekend up to 70mph winds and snow
and rain, further North you are.
Went to the glaucoma clinic yesterday. Seems I am doing well
with a stead pressure in both eyes of 16. So good enough for me.
Off out for my half day away so hope you all have a nice day. Take care.

p.s. Take your boots and warm clothes Alice its going to be dreadful in Scotland this weekend. Good luck.
