Re: Covid-positive MP Margaret Ferrier apologises for Parliament visit

No its NOT, far from it, she deserves what ever sanctions come her way, the situation just highlights (once and once again ad infinitum) that the rule setters can not be trusted, the only thing an individual can do is socially distance from anyone, irrespective of what false integrity folks place on other supposedly responsible folks.

Yet another example of do as I say, not as I do.

Our Political Elite think they are above the law.

As Tachyon pointed out. How can you socially distance on a train?

I agree with Tachyon on this one Spitty.
It said in the news she knew, but still carried on mixing in public.
As for suggesting it's other people's fault for not keeping 2 mtrs away, you could still easily touch something on a train that she has just touched even if you were 10 mtrs away.

I may be wrong but I thought the trains were all set up for social distancing, seats roped off ect and must wear face covering. Not that I'm standing up for her one wee bit.

The woman is I think a "fool" for doing what she did is she one of many? However to get a positive test result then travel on public transport is selfish and mean.

My thought from the start, a train is like a workplace, safeguards should be in place, then, the individual should take extra precautions, anyone who enters, without the afore mentioned, does so at their own risk.
