Sweetie I am forever freeing sheep caught in the hedges and fencing. They are rarely checked and would just stand there and die if I didn't free them.

Lots of awards for your lovely dog - you have my congratulations.

On the point about training, people sometimes ask me how I trained Max. The short answer is that he has had no formal training. He learns. Semantics maybe.

I'm just back from what should be the last stroll today. Yet again, another dog came and yapped at him. Max just laid down, no instruction given. In fairness, I think the little yapper did want to play but his owners dragged him off.

A late edit, the other owners were complimentary about how Max behaved. No annoyance..........

More fool you! Unless they have genuine allergies - you should cook one meal for all. Those who don't want to eat it can starve.

That's the way it was in my house when the kids were growing up. It's the way we were brought up too.

'Eat'? ...what does 'eat' mean?...

...I thought that was a thing only really POSH people did?

...down here in Grotsville,we lowlife scummies share a cauldron of runny squished hedgehog broth between the dorm, before licking the floor clean as a treat for 'afters'.
