Oh Bob, she is adorable and what a lovely, lovely gesture and by naming her Eileen, she already holds a place in my heart.

You will have to post regular photos of "your Eileen" now.
Our Eileen would have been overwhelmed by your kindness .... thank you.

I hope you don't mind but I feel I must share this with the Catsey folk who will be delighted that you have adopted a cat and named her after our dear friend.

Thanks for that Bob, I thought you were naming her Eileen but just wanted to make sure in case I'd read it wrong. Please keep us up to date with her progress...

Re: The story of Eileen, in remembrance of a lost friend (latest update @post 49)

My new gaudians do not understand me but think we are getting there.

I wandered around for days on end
Looking for somewhere to live
Somewhere I would be safe
And some food people give

I found this safe looking garden
Surrounded by hedges with a big gate
I thought I would linger around a bit
Well it was starting to get late

I saw this sort of building
Made up of metal and lots of glass
A nice dry place to sleep that night
Helped to make the evening pass

The next morning these creatures appeared
They watched me for a short while
I rolled over and started to purr
That really made them smile

Suddenly one came over to me
And stroked me down my back
It gave me a feeling of being loved
Something that I have lacked

Anyway as the days started to pass
I felt more and more at home
Shelter, food and loving care
Now I did not want to roam

They keep trying to get me inside their home
But I've been caught like that before
I'll venture into the first room
But always stay near the door

They put my food onto a plate
Then placed it on the floor
It really did smell nice
But I went towards the door

They soon followed me outside
Then down to my haven of rest
They placed the food on my sleeping shelf
It really was the best

Now they have started to cotton on
To the place where I feel so safe
I dont mind wandering a bit inside
I am only a little Waife

One day I may trust them enough
to Venture deeper inside their lair
They may have more warmth and comforts
I wonder should I dare

For now that is my small story
An adventure without an end
For now I feel that I have found
Someone to be my friend.
