What a lovely poem, ABRe: The story of Eileen, in remembrance of a lost friend (latest update @post 49)
Yes it is, reminds me of Poppy who left her home two doors away because they had got a kitten, she became almost feral and decided to move in with us, her mother wasnt pleased, but she prefered to run the gauntlet with a cairn terrier and not share with another cat, it all worked out in the end, I always consulted her mother over things regarding Poppy.Re: The story of Eileen, in remembrance of a lost friend (latest update @post 49)
Ab, that is a lovely poem. Does sound like Eileen is beginning to trust you if she is wandering in...the day will come when she'll trust you completely, and be able to enjoy the comforts of a loving home.Re: The story of Eileen, in remembrance of a lost friend (latest update @post 49)
An absolutely heart-warming poem. That's how some of my cats came to live here. There was Dusty, Shelley, Max and Alex, all of whom decided to move in with us, and more recently Billie.
