Re: Saving for later?

My parents had a lovely old dog who was part hound. When presented with a rawhide bone she would put it down and serenade it, sometimes howling for over an hour, before settling down to chew. Oddest thing ever!

How wonderful is that? I'd have love to have seen a dog sing to his bone, never heard of that one before

Re: Saving for later?

When I lived at home we had an old spaniel called Sandra( my mother named her ) and she was courting a Welsh heeler who used to come to our house everyday, he liked it as my Mother had the Radio on all day and he would sit in the kitchen howling to the music.

Re: Saving for later?

I thought it was cute! I remember we gave Elly a rawhide bone as we were saying our goodbyes after visiting with the kids when they were toddlers. It was a 90 minute drive home. The phone rang minutes after we got in... it was Mom calling to let me listen to Elly still wailing away! Aaaarrrrooooooooooo!
