Re: Off to the Moon again.

NASA's LADEE spacecraft slipped into orbit around the moon Sunday, beginning a feverish four-month campaign to demonstrate a next-generation laser communications system and answer long-standing questions about the nature and origin of the tenuous lunar atmosphere.

Oh it's all so very exciting isn't it.
Having heard no news of LADEE (I'm all behind arn't I ) since he set off I was getting worried so I checked up on him and I'm glad to say He's safe and well collecting dust orbiting the Moon, unfortunately he's on a suicide mission and will crash into the Moon in a few months time, sad init, wonder will NASA be playing "And another one bites the dust" when it crashes.

Jem maybe they thought it unnecessary to send humans when the capabilities of robots have improved to such a great extent since the 60s.

Did you all see this photo of the frog caught up in the blast off of the Moon Robot, seems he was sucked up from a nearby pond and that was the end of him, poor chap.
