How stupid do you have to be!?

I have just read this story and am still shaking my head in disbelief.

Firstly, how the hell would you not KNOW that a car was running!? And secondly, why did she try to turn the engine off WHILST HOLDING A BABY?

Idiotic woman.

Call me cynical but Im always doubtful about these stories..

There seemed to be a rash of people who put the child behind the back wheel before backing up a while back... Strange or what?

Oo ... it sounds an awful catalogue of errors and I'm not sure what to believe.

Not familiar with a strange car.
Helps 3 year son out whilst removing baby from car seat.
Realises car engine running.
To stop it rolling she tries to put brakes on and drops her baby.

If it is true she'll be distraught, and you cant help but feel for her.

I have friend who ran over the baby - he had crawled unseen by the father into the car port and behind the back wheel .
Fortunately he survived and is now a grown man with no ill effects .
One can only imagining this poor woman's devastation .

I think freak accidents can happen to anyone and only by grace of god we all can say how stupid when it happens to someone else.
