Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Couldn't have been worse weather for the village fete, but loads of people turned out, fancy dress and all! It finally stopped about 4 pm and then everyone was hungry - we must have sold several hundred burgers and hot dogs. Came home around 7 pm with shoes full of feet and I'm off to bed early this evening.Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
What a washout weatherwise yesterday.Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Hectic day today. Took my boys swimming, then to lunch and finally to the Cinema to see Incredibles 2 - which was hilarious. Then Craft Club, and finally an hour watching recorded Holby City. Off to bed now, whacked!Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
White Rab bits Rhosyn - rather late. Spent the morning (well until 2.30 pm) at a Flea Market in Hay, raising money for the Church. Not too bad an outcome, we finished up with £172, but we're still debating whether it's worth it. Four of us involved and we all cooked and rounded up other contributions, but were stuck there all morning, most of the time twiddling our thumbs. (If we do it again, I'll take my knitting!).
