Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Gosh Jac, two deliveries, you are lucky! I have one from Asda coming this afternoon, but can't get another yet. Thank heaven for my wonderful DIL - who is also looking after her own mother, her family, 500 plus sheep, and working four days a week. She deserves a medal.

The front of the house is having its annual hair (ivy) cut, so rather noisy!

I've never ordered so many things on line! Most of the things I've sent for have arrived on time. The Ewbank is a godsend forgot how handy they are.
My new chrome book is working well.
Have a good day.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Went Tesco shopping early this morning. There was a woman shopping in there who took no notice of the one way system, one of the assistants asked her to adhere to the one way the woman gave the assistant such a mouthful of abuse. What's the matter with some people?!
Went to Home Bargains and got some garden lights.Won't tell my sons that I've been to more than one shop-they've warned me that if I go shopping to just go to one shop.
Keep safe.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Hi . I've just managed to get a slot for 28th May as well so after this week I'll have 3 in a row ,back to normal !
Just had a phone call from granddaughter in Aus . They seem to be doing ok and are able to go out for a short while this week . She is still working from home and little one in Nursery.
Big waves out there and quite dry at the moment
Take care xxx

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Went on line to Asda last night at about 11pm and got a slot for 15th May - could hardly believe my eyes! April heavy showers here and bright sunshine in between. My next door neighbour brought my 6 jigsaws and I started on one of a butterfly (which is butterfly shaped and has weird shaped pieces). I may be some time...................

Had an early walk this morning.
Frost on the grass, pup had a great time running thro the grass and rolling in it.The cuckoo was cuckooing for all it's worth-lovely to hear it.
Hope it'll stay dry today-got washing out on line and hope to get the garden gate painted.
Have a good day.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Washed loads of towels this morning and got them all dry - just in time to spill gravy over the chair cover and cushion, so filled the line up again this afternoon. Struggling with a jigsaw wished upon me by my lovely neighbour. It's a butterfly (in the shape of a butterfly) and I have never seen such oddly shaped pieces. I've spent the whole day on it (off and on) and still haven't got the outline together! I may chuck it back in the box...
