Sharing a name with someone well known

My husband has the same name as a person who used to be well known. The amusing thing is my husband has absolutely no interest in the activity in which that chap made his mark.

Do any posters on this forum share the same name as someone who is, or has been, in the public eye?

I am not asking anyone to reveal their real names, they would be foolish to do so. A yes or no would do.

Yes .. my nephew does. But as his namesake died over 500 years ago I confine myself to gentle ribbing and merciful sniggers. God knows what my sister was thinking when she named him.

I don’t, myself.

I knew a Dorothy Squires, Robin Hood, Catherine Howard and a few others with famous names.

I share a surname with a very famous Hollywood actor from the old 'silent movies' days.
