LOL, Dogs have masters, cats have staff! And Leia would tell you that good staff is hard to come by these days... I have not made the horrible weather go away no matter how many times she tells me to! Bah!

Now down to 4 cats, had to have my gorgeous White & Ginger put to sleep just before Christmas....He is sorely missed....

I`m a dyed in the wool cat person. I love dogs and children as well -but they go home to their owners. Couldn`t face actually having to look after either

I have a beautiful labrador X samoyed he absolutely loves this weather. I am spending a lot of time alone at this time and he is my best friend and buddy. He keeps me focused and with him around I have something to get out of bed for.

He, he.. Not sure my lil rottie would agree to this. As I have suspected for quite a while she thinks I'm just a nuisance in bed since I don't keep still at night. So far she has left the bed herself - but suppose it's only a question of time before she asks me to sleep on the floor.
She also want to be in charge when we choose where to go for our walks. If I don't agree she just sit down and don't move.
Love her having her own will - but (sadly) sometimes I just have to overrule..

LOL, she sounds strong minded! You are obviously not completely trained yet!

Leia doesn't object when I get up to go to the loo at night, she promptly moves over and grabs the warm spot ... I have to warm up the chillier spot myself. No fool she!

Pia never objects either when I get up at night - in the split of a second she moves over and grabs the hot spot. Just as your Leia does - the only difference is that I have to move 40 kgs of reluctant dog before finding this warm & comforting place in my bed again..
