Very interesting Bazza. It just goes to show you how it takes all sorts of people and customs to make up the World, ignore them at your peril, thats one of the reasons I don’t travel to foreign parts, I could be in a bar having a quiet pint and sneeze then be dragged out and given 100 lashes for not farting instead, you would never know whether you were doing right or wrong.
