I’ll only get one gift this year, from my youngest sister. We did say we would keep it small. She will be over at 10 for a cooked breakfast then she is off to her children.

As I have moved there won’t be anything from brother or best friend, and as for theirs, I have donated items on an Amazon wish list to Monkey World.

I've done well.

I requested holiday vouchers for Warner Hotels and got enough to almost pay for a holiday for Tony & me there.

I've also had the most beautiful flower/plant arrangement in a tub for outside.

Heartbeat - the Rowan Years I requested & got. I didn't realise Nick Berry did 7 series of it. It was brilliant when he was in it.

Also some toiletries & chocs & garden vouchers.

I got an orange a walnut, 2 chestnuts and a brand new sixpence, I am well pleased.

What I actually got was a Partridge in a Pear Tree.

What am I going to do with that!
