pigeon having a drink

Decided it was about time to use some equipment as well (boredom setting in). So out with the wireless remote camera trigger release . Bit late in the day so will try tomorrow properly.

the setup if interested

camera Nikon D800-- lens Tamron 90mm macro -tripod Moman and Moman fluid head. Wireless trigger and receiver by Phottix



did manage this though. camera angle not quite right

Love it, I have a big fat wood pigeon who spends his day under the feeders hoovering up anything that's dropped. He's so blooming fat I'm surprised he can fly..

Good shot RS. Camera angle was fine, the pigeon was in the wrong place, you need to have a talk with him about the position he needs to adopt.

moved thwe camera next to a plant pot to semi hide it, seems to have worked
better when seen in full screen( click over photos)

must try with the nikon D810 camera

with the nikon D810
