Apples

I’ve always liked Royal Gala but I’ve thrown the last two lots out .
They’ve had no taste and were hard .
I like a medium soft one . Which should I put on my order this week ?

Pink lady are nice, also the red and yellow ones....forget what they are, but they are like storybook apples.

I love Jazz apples. They're a cross between Braeburn and Gala. They're tasty, juicy and crisp.

I know, but Jazz are just crisp and you can bite into one quite easily.

Jazzi can’t think which you mean red and yellow and what are storybook apples ? Never come across that expression before .
You don’t mean the ones that affected Sleeping Beauty ? 😳

I enjoy Granny Smith, Golden Delicious and the Pink Lady variety!

I haven't eaten a Golden Delicious for decades - not since I learnt that the French apple growers more or less forced the EU to standardise on the GD causing all apple growers to grub up most of their better tasting and quality apple trees. Once everyone had done that to compete, the French growers started to grow other varieties and cashed in. Barstewards.

Its Pixie and I think I meant Gala apples, now that I looked it up, doh!
