Leakage from a microwave oven WHEN OPERATING CORRECTLY is so low in the first place that the effects of the radiation are miniscule. In any case, microwaves are non-ionising radiation so, don't cause the same mutating effects on DNA as other sources, e.g. radioactive isotopes.
I don't doubt your explanation Percy, however.....
I always remember reading an article about an office containing a dozen or so ladies working away on computers from dawn until dusk. The lady sat at the back of the office was suffering from recurring boils on the back of her neck and shoulders. The cause was finally identified as the microwave on a shelf behind her......
