If the "statista" figures are correct, then BILD sells 1.2mio copies daily.
Followed by "Süddeutsche Zeitung" (320.000) and "Frankfurter Allgemeine" (200.000), both very respectable newspapers.
From what I know, BILD is bought by e. g. workers who look at it in their breakfast or lunch break. Long ago some told me they would not really "read" it, just scanning it. And elderly people often buy it, that is at least my experience.

However in Germany nobody in their right mind would refer to BILDs content in a discussion. It is everybodies knowledge here that BILDs content is fake and fantasy.
I thought only UK had snobs??
( workers and old people!!) Indeed??

Wow, you show courage - German women are not always the easiest ladies to be married to. (I have heard that somewhere...)

I have no proof for my assessment, that is why I wrote "from what I know" and "in my experience". This was because I did not want to claim something general.
Does that make me a snob? (honest question)

As the saying goes: "the British are too polite to be honest and the Germans are too honest to be polite"...

But I assume that she is honest and reliable, is she?

Yes and fortunately most Brits find her bluntness refreshing

Are they then, in true british fashion, too polite to be honest?

Re: failure to understand anger over Brexit

A lot of off-topic posts as per usual nowadays.

"Stormont ministers will be asked on Thursday to approve the full reopening of NI retail outlets on 30 April, BBC News NI understands."

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-56746050

And regarding trouble, the FT is (like others) providing persuasive evidence of how it is criminal gangs at the root of that problem.
Obviously to further their own agenda rather than through any Irish/NI patriotism, since sectarian leaders & members are being abused and ignored by those purportedy only there on the behalf of such organisations.

And, have they approved?

Any real investigation will show the worst criminal gang is housed in downing street london.
