Yep, we usually hold hands when we are out together, especially when we are crossing the road....Why is that?..

I'm about the same as you Meg.

I did used to like 'contact' when we walked though, either hands hooking his arm.
That's made me remember my first boyfriend. He used to walk with his hand on the base of my neck and sort of 'steer' me like a trolley of some sort!

We seem to have a nice lot of couples here who still like contact when walking. I think that's really nice.
