The Sky Was Falling

We had a long night of storms last night. I thought all the trees and plants looked a little rough this morning:

So much for being "The Sunshine State" .

Oh my. Those are big small balls falling from the sky.
I hope you’re ok.

Hi

I am complaining about the sleet.

It puts things into perspective.

Re: The Sky Was Falling

They are frighteningly large Surfermom, have they damaged your car? It's a good job you weren't out running...
I've run through a hailstorm in the past (and they sting like buggery) but were nowhere near as big as those bad boys...

Re: The Sky Was Falling

Thanks, everyone. The cars were in the garage, but the freshly planted plants took a beating.

Apparently there were over 500 cars in town that were damaged, some totaled.

It's incredible when you think about the power of the updrafts and the height of those storms that kept those hailstones aloft long enough to form to such a size!
