Tribute to Philip.= New yacht !!

So the Tories think a £190 M royal yacht would make a fitting tribute
to the Duke of Edinburgh ??
I disagree, it could be the final "nail in the proverbial coffin" for the
royal family at the present time ??
I know that £190M illion is not much to a Tory MP when they are
busy blowing sums like the 22 billion wasted on a dysfunctional
track& trace phone app??
But for lesser mortals Woking for a minimum wage of below £10
per hour it represents wasteful expenditure of public resources ??
And it's not just the £190M , what about the ongoing running costs??
That will be millions EVERY year ?
And l doubt that the projected price stated will bear any relationship
with the final price on delivery??
Since Boris and Rishi used covid to open the doors of the treasury
( US!), they seem to have lost all restraint financially imo !!
Have they even asked the queen about this stupid idea??

Not an idea Duke of Edinburgh would have approved imo.

Queen does not need it now, doubt whether environmentally conscious Charles would endorse it .

Building an adapted yacht, named after him, allowing disabled people the experience of a holiday cruise is something I would donate money towards.
