It's Penny Mordaunt that's pushing to get the idea accepted.
That doesn't mean that anything will come of the idea you know.
I wonder if you have any idea how many such ideas like this are pushed at Boris & our government on a regular basis?
And how very few actually come to some form of fruition?

But this particular " scheme appears to have been "floated by a
member of this government ??
A government that has taken us from severe austerity to the
other extreme of completely opening the gates to public finances ?
