There's no need.
The EU are happily sinking themselves.

The two sides are due to meet on Thursday for talks on Northern Ireland at a meeting unlikely to reach a breakthrough but seen more as a staging post as London and Brussels try to find a way to ease differences over trade.

Re: EU parliament refuses to set date for ratifying TCA

To be fair, trade is the main reason for the EU to be bothered. It is a trade organisation after all.

That the UK has problems with a part of the kingdom need not hinder the EU. International wto rules based law says that a border exists between two trade markets.
If the EU told the UK, "you signed a deal with us, you could read the conditions, so stick to them" it would be within its rights. It is an internal british problem, so solve it.

The EU is not a trade organisation.

It used to be but that was all part of the deception.

No it wasn't.

The concept of a European Union (or a United States of Europe) has been a dream of communists from many countries.

It started as the Coal and Steel Community between France, Germany Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

I've seen some utter tripe posted on here but that's exceptional!

You've not even thought why - if the UK set it up - they weren't a member until 1973, have you?
You know, the EEC that was started in 1957 and grew through their ever-increasing federalism into the EU.
