How lovely Nicol I have never heard of a hog house.
I have recruited my grandchildren to place piles of sticks and logs in two corners of their paddock to house hedgehogs
They already have a resident which my grandaughter feeds outside their utility room which is left open for the cats...
Meg, nice to see them learning how to look after wildlife!
I have not got suitable logs/twigs etc in my garden for a natural hidey hole, that's why I've resorted to hog houses.
My hedgehog, it's still about, I found some poo earlier, your house gave me an idea for using a wooden bread bin I was about to take to the charity shop
